    Important Notice for Hosting Services and Web Subscriptions Customers

    The Scholastic Data Center is experiencing technical difficulties which may cause customers with program software hosted by Scholastic to experience slowness when accessing Scholastic Achievement Manager (SAM) and student applications. We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and apologize for this interruption in service.

    Update to Scholastic Achievement Manager and Scholastic Central

    Scholastic issued an update to Scholastic Achievement Manager and Scholastic Central on February 16, 2015 to address various functional issues. Districts not using Update Manager should download and install these updates from the SAM Product Support page.

    Scholastic Data Center Updates

    Scholastic made updates to the infrastructure in the Scholastic Data Center the weekend of February 14, 2015, during our regular maintenance window. Customers with SAM Servers hosted in the Scholastic Data Center may need to update Firewall and/or Content Filter settings for their hosted site to function properly following this update.

    Important Notice for System 44 Next Generation Users

    Students working in the Word Strategies Strand may receive an error message that will leave them unable to proceed in the software. This bug only affects students who have completed a Fast Track activity in the previous series.

     

    Districts with locally-installed SAM Servers can download the v2.3.4.1 update to System 44 on Monday, February 9th to continue use. The v2.3.4.1 update is now available on the System 44 Next Generation update page or through SAM Connect Update Manager.

    Notice Regarding SMI Progress to College & Career Report

    Districts using SMI College & Career will not be able to use the SMI Progress to College & Career report above the student level in SAM and Scholastic Central.

    Teachers and administrators who need to view PDFs of the Progress to College & Career report for multiple students will need to run and print the reports individually for each student.
